Community
In biology a community is not defined a social group whose
members reside in a specific locality, share government, and often have
a common cultural. In biology a community is defined as different populations that live together in a defined area. Like in a population there are no non-living or abiotic factors in a community. A community is composed of two or more species that have definitive ecological niche (or role) specific in the area where they live.
An example of a community can be something as simple as a population of
sunflowers living with a population of chrysanthemums living in the same
enviroment, like a garden or a field. Or course when you consider only the community
of sunflowers and chrysanthemums you would exclude other factors like water, soil, sunlight, ect.
Here is another analogy. Say you have a stack of quarters. The quarters are one
population. Also in another pile you have a stack of pennies, and a stack of
dimes. Each stack is a population. Now you pour all the stacks into your
piggybank. All the different populations of coins now comprise a community.
